‼️My First Time Trying Filipino food in Dubai🤯 before we start: Apologies to my Filipino friends in advance for mispronouncing all your beautiful dishes. I was driving around and found Pares Republic in Satwa which somehow made me to stop the car and check it out. The waiter and the chef himself were so super nice that it made me check out their food. I was told that Pares Republic is authentic Batangas food, which is a city in the Philippines. I order couple of dishes and they ever gave me 2 soups to try. I must say i really liked the taste, and i loved the spicy chili sauce they serve on the side. and the rice with the crispy garlic was a highlight as well!
One soup, the Goto Batangas reminded me so much of persian kale patche. This place made me curious to try more authentic Filipino food, so let me know which place do you recommend me to try next? my order

Let me know if you agree with me! Back in 80s/90s The iconic Chips Oman and Paratha sandwich was prepared in the UAE by our mums for us kids as a snack, as breakfast or for our school lunch breaks.  Hot & Crispy Paratha with Chips Oman, Cream Cheese, Omelet and Hot Sauce, simple ingredients that are just super delicious in a small sandwich. I can eat 5 and more of these!   Now the weather is getting cooler in Dubai so I recommend all of you to go out and find a cafeteria nearby and order this sandwich with some hot chai karak.  This recipe became quickly a go-to snack in the streets of UAE, it is one of the most important sandwiches sold in cafeterias all over the country and trust me when I say say there are many people like me that cannot live without it. Couple of you recommended this authentic Pakistani restaurant in old Dubai “Naif” 1978 - and since then they are serving different types of Nihari and some other classics like dal and biriyani. Such an amazing experience to watch the chef sitting on next to the barrel and cooking with passion - the meat was so juicy and soft, this guy really knows what he is doing! The nihari was amazing full of flavor that I haven’t tried in any Pakistani restaurant, the meat was so soft and Maghz (brain) was so rich and well spiced.
but let me tell you this the biryani was the best biryani ever I have tried so far, the spices were very aromatic. I am sure my dad will approve too. Tell me, where do you get your favorite Biriyani from? Maghaz Nihari 45AED

If you’re looking for a quick breakfast, you have to stop by in Jumairah at this regag place and order some fresh & hot regag made right in front of you. Dont forget you need to eat regag while it’s hot! So just stop by here with your car, order and eat it. Don’t wait for later. And make sure to try the fish sauce! Not everyones taste but at least try it once! let me know the comments if you have ever tried cooked chickpeas in the chickpea broth for breakfast! it’s an old Iranian dish and it’s super delicious. it might look boring but if you try it add some lemon juice and some daqus. it’s very healthy by the way. This is the first Egyptian Shawarma place here and I am happy to be the first one to try this! They serve their shawarma in a potatoe bun, so more of a burger style, filled with sauce and delicious meat! They also have the traditional Shrimp Sandwich which exceeded my expectations.
