You have to know that you have only tried 60% of Emirati Dishes at restaurants, 40% of our dishes are really hidden in our homes made by our moms and not common to be served in restaurants. I was craving some traditional Emirati style biryani and I decided to check out this restaurant in Al Jaddaf, Very small very cozy and the food is unbelievable delicious. As usual super hungry so I ordered a big family platter with a mix of Machboos Chicken, Biryani Shrimp and Tuna and Hamsa Laham This platter is amazing for 5 people to share and is a special recommendation from this restaurant.
Flavorful rice, delicious meat and fresh shrimps. You don’t get Biryani with Tuna that often, as it is more a homecooked dish and this one is very good! Every bite of this was delicious! Specially the Machboos chicken was mix favorite, the chicken was cooked perfect and the rice was really good too!I can highly recommend to come and eat here or ever take away to eat at home with the whole family! I did try some real German Döner in Germany and when I heard a new Döner restaurant just opened in Dubai 2 weeks ago I had to come and check it out! The owner - German himself - brought his concept from Germany to Dubai - and all the ingredients for this Döner are imported from Germany, even the turkey. The turkey is so flavorful, the salad gives it a perfect crunch and freshness to this sandwich. The most important part after the meat is the sauces - you need to have a perfect mix of cocktails sauce and garlic sauce and here you even a samba special sauce and let me tell you this mix made the Döner perfect! This was my first time trying horse meat and I was super excited! I must say i really like it and I could get used to eating it. Their menu is so amazing, lot of varieties of different doughts filles with meat like samsa and manti, lots of different soups and of course their traditional Pilaf which is rice with meat, carrots and spices. Today I came to try this gem in the middle of JLT and I’ve ordered a couple of dishes. Super excited to try the food here as I heard their Chef is Indonesian himself so I knew it will be very traditional. The beef rendang here is amazing, as well as the Buntut Balado, which is Oxtail. I tried this here for the first time. I have to say I am in love with indonesian sambal and peanut sauce, you can mix it with everything! i saw on their menu they have pancake with cheese and I needed to order this - let me tell you this was a big positive surprise to me, I did try expect it to be this amazing! Definitely a must order as well! I really can say with 100% confidence that this restaurant serves the best Indonesian food in Dubai and the quality is the best, everything was so delicious and just looking at it makes me happy, everything is so colorful and nicely arranged..
