I think there are no words in this world can describe how feel when I enter to these local houses and talk to these beautiful people and try their food. The best way to get to know peoples culture is through their food! Always ask a local to guide you and show you their culture and beauty of their food. WARUNG NASI TEKOR BALI (grandpa) The presentation of the food is also still considered unique. This place is created and managed by an elderly couple. They are using banana leaves as plates (called Tekor) . Not only that, all the menus are cooked by the owner himself and his wife with love and all the dishes. here do not use MSG or preservatives.

They don’t use shredded coconut for Lilit Satay, so it’s meaty, different from other place. Other
place always mix the meat and coconut.

2. The uniqueness of Blayag Mek Sambru is made from strands of young coconut
leaves filled with rice and then boiled until cooked. The packaging made of coconut leaves makes the aroma of Blayag feel fragrant and
delicious. The advantage that is the uniqueness of Blayag Mek Sambru is combined
with various types of side dishes: A. Tipat : the main dish
B. Be siap toktok : option; non spicy and spicy smashed chicken fillet, the
spicy with pemelecingan sambal
C. Spicy Pindang : mackarel tuna with pemelecingan sambal
D. Pemelecingan : Type of sambal from Karangasem Bali (the red one we
asked)
E. Pindang egg : boiled egg with seasoning
F. Serapah satay : Satay from gizzard, chicken skin, egg and added with
creamy coconut milk
G. Tempe : There’s 2 type of tempe here, one is the sweet and spicy tempe,
and another one is tempe with coconut milk (we call it Tempe Mesanten)
H. Jukut Nangka : jackfruit boiled with sweet soy sauce
I. Ayam tim:small chicken cut with other seasoning
J. Ayam gragasan : small chicken cut with coconut milk
K. Urab Paku : boiled vegetable ( longbean with grated coconut)
L. Urab Timun: boiled cucumber with grated coconut
M. Serundeng : fried grated coconut (sweet taste) Price : Rp.25000/portion

Let me know if you agree with me! Back in 80s/90s The iconic Chips Oman and Paratha sandwich was prepared in the UAE by our mums for us kids as a snack, as breakfast or for our school lunch breaks.  Hot & Crispy Paratha with Chips Oman, Cream Cheese, Omelet and Hot Sauce, simple ingredients that are just super delicious in a small sandwich. I can eat 5 and more of these!   Now the weather is getting cooler in Dubai so I recommend all of you to go out and find a cafeteria nearby and order this sandwich with some hot chai karak.  This recipe became quickly a go-to snack in the streets of UAE, it is one of the most important sandwiches sold in cafeterias all over the country and trust me when I say say there are many people like me that cannot live without it.
